Energy Flow

The body is intelligent, and it will naturally guide its energy wherever it needs to go.

We don’t have to do anything except get the energy flowing, and then allow it to move.

Qigong provides a way to cultivate the flow of energy in the body.

I write the words above and then watch as my hands, seemingly of their own accord, lift from the keyboard. They practice a qigong flow, moving like water in a stream—supple, unbroken, and calm, moving with natural grace, with effortless fluidity.

I slow down in body and mind.

I am tranquil.

I am energized.

    I love the flow and movement in this one, Dotty. Hearing about your relationship to Qigong and qigong to your art is fascinating. The colors are calm and soothing.

      Thanks for your thought-ful comments, Roseann. I had some struggles with this piece. And then … energy flowing where it needed to go. The process opened up and my view of what I’d created suddenly moved to a place of delight!
