Climbed up one of them thar hills today, step by step by step, hour after hour, and then found our achin’-muscles-watch-out-for-acorns-and-loose-rocks-and-horse-dung way back down ag’in.
Gonna sleep well tonight, I tell you what!

I have trouble walking on acorns on flat land….well done getting up and down a hill. I hope you continue to find joy and beauty in all the hours and steps to come. The paintings are a delight!

So much joy and beauty as we hike, sit fireside, prep simple meals, enjoy each other’s company, and take in the magnificence of so much quiet.
