    1. Thanks for joy-ning me in this adventure, MaryAnn! One of my December gifts to myself, for sure, and I’m happy to know you’ve found pleasure in it as well : )

Your pairings are SO SO SO good! I wonder what you could do with my wardrobe…:)

    1. Lola, thank you and … LOL! Reality check: I choose an outfit, and by outfit I mean, for example, black fleece leggings, tank bra, long sleeved underlayer, dark gray henley shirt, and light gray fleece vest, and then wear the outfit till it’s change-up day a week later. I do pair such an outfit w/ select complementary earrings (this week—a ceramic version of sea glass, i.e. chips of dark gray and light gray patterned pottery that someone found on a beach). In other words, who knows what I could do with your wardrobe!!!

I do love painting bookmarks to custom pair with books so, again, thank you for celebrating that joy of mine.

  3. Dotty ~ those brilliant and happy colors, along with your line work go so well together. Fiery and warm. ♥️

    1. Love your feedback, Roseanne! I had fun with this one—the book cover gave me all that fiery warm brilliant happy color to work with along with the opportunity to interweave the vivacity of that color with bold graphic line work. Loved the “prompt.”

My Story

In 2014, I grab an unexpected opportunity to paint.

To make art.

I get hooked.

In 2015 I start a blog—a diary of my life as an artist.

I post my paintings and their stories. The good, the bad, the ugly.

My compass points: bust through fear, be playful, get messy, trust my gut.
