A Tease

Well, hahaha, I’m thinking I may do a little more fine tuning of the Skye-Llewellyn-inspired painting I’ve been writing about this week. Yesterday I hung it back on the wall oriented in a different direction from the one in which I’ve been painting it, and I see places where I’d like more balance.

I know, I know, going back in at this point could be even riskier than having my supplies laid out on the unprotected bedspread in that room. But … oh well!

In the interim here’s a tease preview showcasing one wrapped edge of the canvas. I love painting around onto the sides of a canvas, and I love the composition of this particular edge!

I promise, I’m on the edge of completing this painting!

  3. It looks a bit like those characters that Zen-Masters paint in one flow on the paper, in a perfect balance.

    1. Simone, THANK YOU. That’s how the process has FELT with this painting.

Your comment helps me tease out a bit more of what has made the creating of this painting so immersive and nourishing.

  4. What a pretty, and promising edge! It would make an awesome bookmark. (Or a couple of them. LOL) I love the palette, and the mood. Very thoughtful, and yet fresh and lively. Have fun with it Dotty! :o)

To make art.

I get hooked.
