Tidying Up

After exploring the CutUps concept in my art journal at the beginning of January, I decided to embark on a longer-term project. I took a large sheet of watercolor paper to my trimmer and portioned it into multiple small cards on which to conduct my inquiry.

I’m now down to just a trio of remaining cards and a considerable collection of cut-up bits. With the creation of these final (for now) CutUps and as a way of beginning to tidy up my studio, I’ve decided to press into service at least some of the scraps I’ve been leaving in my wake.

    Love this little “tidying up” piece! I always find precious little scraps to play with when I tidy up…..so I never actually finish tidying!

      It’s that new sea creature discovered off the coast of Chile, Sheila. National Geographic had me along as artist-in-residence on the research ship : )
