Lovely to see you experiment, it tickles my playmuscles…!

Playmuscles! The perfect word, Simone!
The concept here tickled and teased my problem-solving spatial skills and manual dexterity (i.e. all my playmuscles) as I aimed for a satisfying composition that would have just ONE STAPLE to hold all its component pieces together.

I am also nourished by your playful one staple assemblage. I have forgotten about that strategy….so thanks for putting this out there.
I love things stacked up….and unfortunately in my house I tend to make lots of piles. But the approach can really “make a splash” in a tiny art piece!

Thanks for your appreciation of this strategy … and for leaving me with the entertaining fantasy of your fashioning a giant make-shift staple of some sort with which to fix one of the piles in your home to a floor or table to create an unexpected and improbable art assemblage!!

Haha! I love the staple. The quick, let’s-do-this feel. Love it all. 🙂

In 2014, I grab an unexpected opportunity to paint.
To make art.
I get hooked.
In 2015 I start a blog—a diary of my life as an artist.
I post my paintings and their stories. The good, the bad, the ugly.
My compass points: bust through fear, be playful, get messy, trust my gut.
